I am currently serving my first term.  I was elected in November of 2006 to be the Magistrate of District 7.  This is the first public office I have held.  My father, Ben Hadley and grandfather, Loren Hadley were previous magistrates in Adair County.  I have been married to Rita (Burton) Hadley for thirty-four years; we have one daughter, one son, and two grandchildren.  I have worked in Adair County for most of my life. I was raised on a farm in the Fairplay area, one of six children of Ben and Mary Hadley.  I have been elected as Magistrate in one of the best districts in Adair County.  I represent people of all walks of life.  I would like to see our drug problem disappear, a rehab center affordable for everyone who needs the help, more jobs and a way to stop littering in or county.  Visitors judge our county by the way our roadsides look.  With God’s help I hope to make the right decisions for the people in District 7 and the people of Adair County.
